Revenue and payouts

The share

You earn 50% of the ad revenue your game generates. Every ads-enabled game gets its own AdSense custom channel, set up when it is approved, so its earnings are measured on their own. Gamealia may agree a different share for a whole account (for example a studio) or for a single game: a game's own share wins over the account's, and the account's over the default 50%. The dashboard shows the share used for every line. All amounts are in US dollars.

Turn ads off for a game and it earns nothing, but it gets the same visibility.

Estimated and confirmed

  • Estimated: every day Gamealia imports each channel's earnings from AdSense. Your estimate for the month is your share of that, and it shows up in the dashboard daily. Estimates move: Google adjusts them, for example for invalid traffic.
  • Confirmed: when AdSense finalizes the month and pays, Gamealia enters the amount actually paid. The difference between that amount and the sum of the estimates is spread across the games in proportion to their earnings, so the confirmed amounts always add up to what Google paid. Every ledger line shows the estimated amount, the adjustment and the confirmed amount, and links to its source report rows.

Only confirmed money counts toward your balance: balance = confirmed earnings − payouts.

Payouts

  • Earnings, the balance and payouts belong to the developer account that owns the games, not to its members: a studio is paid once, to the method its owner or finance member set.
  • Payouts are sent monthly, by hand, to every account whose confirmed balance is at least USD 50. A smaller balance carries over to the next month.
  • Methods: PayPal (your email), Payoneer (email or customer id), Wise (email), or Mercado Pago / bank transfer in Argentina (CVU, CBU or alias). Set yours, and your tax details, in the developer portal → Settings.
  • Account type and tax details: an individual account gives a legal name, country, tax id and address; a business account gives the company's legal and trade names, registration number, tax id or VAT, billing address and billing email. The form checks the tax id format for several countries (CUIT in Argentina, EIN in the US, VAT in the EU...): see Accounts and teams.
  • Owners and the finance role manage the payout method and tax details; admins see earnings too (roles).
  • Every payout appears in the dashboard with its amount, date, method and transaction reference.

Where to see it

  • Developer portal → Earnings: per month and per game, estimated, adjustment and confirmed, with a daily chart; Payouts: the balance and every payment.
  • CLI / MCP: gamealia_get_earnings (balance, months, payouts) and gamealia_get_stats (plays, players, playtime, devices, ad requests).

Grow your earnings

  • Ask for a midgame at every natural break; the portal enforces the frequency, not you (Ads).
  • Offer rewarded ads players actually want (an extra life, double coins).
  • Make it work well on mobile, and keep gameplayStart / gameplayStop accurate: plays and sessions drive recommendations.
  • Translate the listing well (Translating the listing): more players find it.
